Keep QuickBooks for the books. Run your team in TeamCrest.

TeamCrest gives 10–75 person hourly and seasonal teams one place for scheduling, time, coverage, communication, and day-to-day operations—while QuickBooks remains the accounting system your finance team knows.

What TeamCrest adds to a QuickBooks workflow

QuickBooks remains the financial system. TeamCrest is the operations layer for the work that happens before payroll and after a schedule is published.

QuickBooks Time can stand alone or be part of Workforce.

Know which QuickBooks product you have

QuickBooks Time can be purchased on its own or included in a QuickBooks Workforce plan. The price example above is for standalone QuickBooks Time Premium, not a comparison with a Workforce bundle or your accounting subscription.

QuickBooks Time

A time-tracking and scheduling product. TeamCrest is designed to take on more of the day-to-day operations work around schedules, coverage, communication, checklists, and approvals.

This is the comparison behind the 20-person list-price example—not a promise that every QuickBooks Time feature has a one-for-one replacement.

QuickBooks Workforce plans

Workforce Premium includes QuickBooks Time Premium, and Workforce Elite includes QuickBooks Time Elite. These bundles pair a Time tier with a broader payroll and workforce workflow. Keep that financial workflow in QuickBooks while TeamCrest prepares approved operational time for review.

TeamCrest does not currently submit payroll, calculate taxes, or provide a direct Workforce payroll sync.

Modernize operations without disrupting the books.

A practical migration path

  1. 1

Keep your QuickBooks company and payroll process in place.

TeamCrest does not replace your ledger, employee payments, tax setup, or accountant workflow.

  2. 2

Set up the daily work in TeamCrest.

Invite your team, publish schedules, collect time, coordinate coverage, and run operational checklists.

  3. 3

Map people and earning codes before payroll.

Use the Payroll Export center to review employee identifiers and the codes your payroll workflow expects.

  4. 4

Review approved hours and validate the export.

Download the CSV, then have your accounting team test it in your exact QuickBooks product before relying on it for a live pay cycle.

Quick answers

Can we cancel QuickBooks after switching to TeamCrest?

No. Keep QuickBooks for accounting and payroll. TeamCrest is the operational system alongside it.

Does TeamCrest directly send payroll into QuickBooks?

Not today. TeamCrest exports approved hours as CSV. Confirm the import path with your accounting team and the exact QuickBooks product before a live payroll run.

What happens if our export needs changes?

Correct the employee mapping, earning code, or date range in TeamCrest and generate a new export. Do not use an untested file for a live pay cycle.

Built for your operational team

Use TeamCrest when shifts still get coordinated in texts and spreadsheets, and your team needs stronger time, coverage, checklist, and communication workflows without a heavyweight HR suite.

Keep the financial system intact

TeamCrest does not replace your accounting ledger, payroll tax engine, or payroll processor. It makes the team work that feeds those systems more organized and easier to audit.
