Full Stack Engineering Intern
About TeamCrest
TeamCrest is a modern employee scheduling and management platform built by Crest Code. We're on a mission to simplify workforce management for service-based businesses using cutting-edge technology. We are a small, high-performance team based in the Colorado Rockies, building software that rivals Silicon Valley giants.
About The Role
We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Engineering Intern to join our team. This is not an "observe and learn" role—you will be writing production code from day one. You will work directly with the founder (an experienced software engineer) to build new features, improve existing workflows, and integrate AI agents into the platform.
This is a unique opportunity to learn the most modern stack in web development: Next.js 16 (App Router), Supabase, React 19, and Tailwind CSS 4, all within a scalable Turborepo architecture.
What You'll Do
- Feature Development: specific ownership of features like the "SOP Wizard" chatbot and Scheduling modules.
- Full Stack Engineering: Work across the entire stack, from database schema design in Supabase to UI implementation with Shadcn/ui.
- AI Integration: Help build and refine AI agents using the Vercel AI SDK and OpenAI models.
- Code Quality: Write clean, type-safe TypeScript code and participate in code reviews.
What You'll Need
- Foundation in Web Dev: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- React Experience: Familiarity with React components, hooks, and state management.
- Curiosity: A deep desire to understand how things work under the hood.
- Design Eye: Ability to implement pixel-perfect UIs from design mockups or general guidelines.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Next.js (App Router).
- Experience with SQL or Supabase.
- Projects deployed to production (Vercel, Netlify, etc.).
What We Offer
- Mentorship: Direct 1-on-1 mentorship from a senior engineer.
- Flexibility: Remote-first workflow with flexible hours.
- Modern Tooling: Access to the best developer tools and AI assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
- Impact: Your code will be used by real businesses.
